Russian RT TV news channel goes digital

New studio complex for RT television runs on Nexans LANsense solution

Today’s consumers are becoming increasingly used to the idea of watching content anytime and anywhere, which is completely changing the concept of television. As broadcast facilities become more and more like data centres, it becomes possible to introduce new ways of working and collaborating on creative projects.

RT (formerly Russia Today), launched in December 2005, currently consists of three global news channels. In need for expansion RT moved all its staff and equipment to a new studio complex incorporating ofices, studios, news rooms, storage facilities and a data centre.
