PEX-M-AL is a halogen free, XLPE-insulated, PE-sheathed cable with round (25 mm³) sector shaped, (50-240 mm³) solid aluminium conductors. The cable is designed according to HD 603. The conductors have resistance according to IEC 60228 class 2. The cores are identified by colours according to HD 308. The sheath is marked type/manufacturer/year+month/metre marking. PEX-M-AL is not flame retardant.
Lifemark(TM) recycling marking
The external surface of the outer sheath is embossed with a text which specifies all components in the polymers and prepares the cable for future recycling.
Standards
PEX-M-AL is manufactured and tested according to SS 424 14 18.The cable can be loaded in accordance with valid powercurrent regulations and SS 424 14 24.
