Characteristics & Applications
This reinforced cable featureing a central tube is used for duct installation by pulling.
The cable characteristeics are the following:
- Tube filled with jelly
- Suitable for use in ducts *
- Basic rodent resistance
- All dielectric design
- Waterproof structure
- Up to 12 fibres
- Low coefficient of friction
- Reinforced outersheath with UV resistance
* This cable is not suitable for direct burial
Nexans fibre cable UG can include MM62.5, MM50 and SM G652 fibres.
For MM we offer different grades of fibre to suit your application: GIGAlite, GIGAlite II, GIGAlite 3 (MM50 only) or GIGAlite 4 (MM50 only).
Installation
- Set cutter blade at 1.50 mm
- Cut at 1.50 m distance from the cable end
- Remove the sheath in one operation

- Gel filled tube containing up to 12 individually coloured fibres
- Glass yarns reinforcement
- PE outer sheath
