Use :

• The external distribution box (76/42) is used for the connection of the subscribers cables to a multi-pair cable.

  The connection is made by means of a screw-type connection strip for 8, 10, 14 or 20 pairs.

  A partial distribution of the multi-pair cable can be created by tapping off.

  The box is secured to the facade by screws or on a pole with a metal strip (not supplied).

  Description :

  The external distribution box is composed of a body, a lid and a screw-type connection strip.

• The body

  consists of the strip in the central part and the cable entries in the bottom part.

  Two cable-retaining clamps are employed to secure the multi-pair cables. Wire guides in a chicane arrangement are used to hold the subscribers’ cables. Each opening is protected by an anti-insect grill.

• The lid

  is hinged and can be held in the open position. It includes a “quarter-turn” locking arrangement.

• The strip

  is composed of 1 pair grey or black elements. The connection is made by a screw-type device.
