Characteristics & Applications

Nexans fibre cable MC LSZH is designed for following installation conditions :

• Indoor/Outdoor jacket material
• Suitable for use in ducts or direct burial
• Provides rodent protection
• Flame & fire retardant halogen free
• Fire resistant
• Up to 72 fibres

Nexans fibre cable MC LSZH can include MM62.5, MM50 and SM G652 fibres.

Installation

• Set cutter blade at 2.00 mm
• Cut and remove the outer sheath and armour together for a minimum of 10 cm to access the ripcord
• Remove sheath and armour in one operation using ripcord
• Set cutter blade at 1 mm
• Cut and remove inner sheath

Construction

1. 6 gel filled tubes containing up to 12 individually coloured fibres
2. Central FRP strength member
3. Water swellable yarns
4. Flame retardant halogen free inner sheath
5. Corrugated steel tape armour
6. Flame retardant halogen free outer sheath
