Performance
Tested to 350 MHz and with guaranteed performance to 250 MHz, Nexans Category 6 cables provide guaranteed headroom and bandwidth over and above the requirements of all international, european and american cable standards, including ISO/IEC 11801:2002, IEC 61156-5, EN 50173, EN 50288, TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1.
Installation
The outer PE-sheat of the cable is UV-resistant and the cable is suitable for fixed outdoor installation. It is not suitable for direct burial. It has to be protected in a duct when it is installed in the ground. The cable can be installed indoor if the outer PE-sheat is removed using the rip cord (in this case the cable will be halogen free flame retardant).
